Fortnite Custom Matches for Streamers
Instructions for streamers who want to participate in a Fortnite Customs Match Collab
Benefits of a Fortnite Custom Matchmaking Collab for Streamers
- Opportunity to "Play with Viewers" Since most of these games will be focused on squads and occasionally duos, you'll be needing teammates. This is the perfect opportunity to play with your viewers. This is just a suggestion and can be handled however you want. But it could be an added perk for followers or subscribers of your channel.
- **Collaborating can help us grow each others Audience
House Rules
After doing some play testing, we found that some house rules are needed to keep the game competitive and maximize the fun. Please articulate these to the viewers and teamates.
- No fighting until 1st Zone Completes. Aka, no fighting for the first 7 minutes of the game. You must wait until the 1st Storm Circle is completed. Once the 2nd zone is displayed, all fights can start.
- No stream sniping Self explanatory. No watching others stream for the purpose of a competitive advantage or seeing landing spot.
- Items inside tents from previous games cannot be used. You can use tents in the game, just make sure you dump the previous contents
- Please refrain from using Tanks
- Please refrain from using Bounty Boards Anything not listed defaults to normal Fortnite Battle Royale Rules
General FAQs around Fortnite Customs
Fortnite Custom Matchmaking matches happen isolated from normal Fortnite games, so whatever status, challenges, weapons you had before the game, will remain after the game. Here are some examples:
- If you had a crown going into the Custom Match, it will still remain with you regardless of if you win or lose a match.
- Likewise, if you win a private match, your crown won't carry over to other matches.
- Any challenges and quests you complete in the private match will not count and will be reset to what it was before the match.
- Any items in a person's tent even if removed and lost in the private match, will still be there after the match. (see House Rules on this.)
- Everyone starts the Private game with 0 gold.
Collab FAQs
- What if I don't have enough viewers to fill a full squad? That's ok. If that's the case, make sure you have your squad set to fill, and you will be matched with others that only have a partial group.
- What if my player ability is higher then Novice/Casual players? We do want to keep the player level somewhat even, so if you do consider yourself a sweat, our recommendation is to either keep your squad at no-fill and play with half the size or to impose a fun challenge like no rarity above blue, or pistols only, or etc...
- What if someone doesn't follow the house rules? This can and will happen. Try to be a good sport, people forget and mistakes happen. If you do notice someone is blatently ignoring the rules or repeated mistakes, please message Kudonate and I will review the replays and take appropriate action.
